4240 refugees forced to return from Europe in 5 years – source

ARBIL /Iraqi News A total of 4240 Iraqi refugees have returned to Iraq against their will during the past five years, noting that 213 refugees have committed suicide before their return, secretary general of the Iraqi refugees federation said. “The federation knows that there is an agreement between the government of the Kurdistan region and European countries to force them to return,” Dashti Jamal said at a press conference held in Arbil, noting that some of them have been returned by military airplanes. “The government of Kurdistan region presented facilities to European commercial companies in return for their countries’ assistance to force them to return,” he asserted.
