Kurdish PM, Parl. speaker discuss preparations for polls

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: The prime minister of Iraq’s Kurdistan region has met with the speaker of the Iraqi parliament to discuss current preparations for the upcoming parliamentary election, according to an official statement. During their meeting on Monday (Feb. 22), Premier Barham Saleh and Parliament Speaker Iyad al-Samarraie discussed the recent developments on the political scene, the preparations for the legislative elections and electoral campaigns,” read the statement that was received by IraqiNews.com news agency.
