VP al-Hashemi arrives in Cairo

BAGHDAD /Iraqi News Iraq’s Vice President, Tareq al-Hashemi, arrived in Cairo on Tuesday evening in response to an invitation from the Egyptian government, al-Hashemi’s media office said. “Egyptian Prime Minister Ahmad Nazif and a number of ministers as well as the embassy’s members in Cairo, received the Iraqi official,” the source told Iraqi News. During his three-day visit, al-Hashemi will discuss ways of boosting bilateral relations and will hold meetings with the Iraqi community in Egypt. SH (P)/SR 1
