Ninewa election commission accuses Iraqi army of violations

NINEWA /Iraqi News The Ninewa Electoral Commission on Thursday accused Iraqi army forces deployed in the province of shortages that caused a delay in opening some voting centers in Mosul city. “They delayed the opening of voting centers until 10:00 a.m.,” Abdilkhaliq al-Dabbagh, the commission’s director, said in a press conference attended by Iraqi News. He said that the commission was surprised that there was a shortage in the electoral information. Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of Baghdad. MH (P)/SR 1
