IEDs wound 3 civilians in Salah al-DIN

SALAH AL-DIN /Iraqi News Three civilians have been wounded in two separate bombings in Salah al-Din province, a local security source said on Sunday. “Three civilians were injured when an explosive device went off in Yathrib district (75 km south of Tikrit),” the source told Iraqi News. Another IED detonated on al-Pasha St., downtown Tikrit, leaving no casualties, the source noted. Meanwhile, police forces have safely detonated a car bomb parked near the provincial building in the city, according to the same source. Nearly 19 million voters representing Iraq‘s 18 provinces started heading to the country’s voting stations at 07:00 a.m. today to elect a new parliament.
