TOSD demands the release of 4 voting observers

BAGHDAD /Iraqi News Tammuz Organization for Social Development (T.O.S.D.) on Sunday demanded that security forces to the north of Mosul city release four of its voting observers. “The observers were arrested without any legal reason,” T.O.S.D. said in a release received by Iraqi News. It noted that arresting voting observers is in violation of the election rules in Iraq as well as against human rights. Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of Baghdad.
