Japanese embassy praises parliamentary elections

BAGHDAD /Iraqi News The Japanese embassy in Baghdad on Monday praised the parliamentary elections in Iraq, noting that the elections will contribute in building a democracy, according to a statement of the embassy. “The election was held in Iraq without big obstacles despite the critical security situation,” said the statement received by Iraqi News. “Japan will continue supporting the Iraqi government and people for the development and stability of this country,” it added.
