ARBIL /Iraqi News The counting votes of the parliamentary elections in Arbil is about to finish and the preliminary results will be announced in the coming two days, director of the Arbil office of the Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) said on Wednesday. “The counting process is about to finish and the current results indicate the Kurdistan Alliance list’s win by 65% in Arbil,” Hindreen Mohammad told Iraqi News. Special Representative of the Secretary General for Iraq (SRSG), Ad Melkert, had said earlier that the preliminary results of the elections will be announced on Thursday morning. SH (P) 1
