Civilian killed, contractor injured in Mosul

NINEWA /Iraqi News One civilian was killed and a contractor was wounded in two separate incidents in Mosul, a police source said on Monday. “Gunmen stormed a civilian’s store in Tal al-Rouman region, western Mosul, killing the owner,” the source told Iraqi News. “A constructor was wounded by gunmen when they tried to kidnap him in 30 Tamouz region, western Mosul,” the same source said. “He tried to resist, pushing them to hit him by their guns on his head,” he explained, noting that they left him and fled.
