Talabani as president serves Kurds, all Iraqis – Kurdish official

ARBIL /Iraqi News Jalal Talabani is the Kurds’ nominee to occupy the position of Iraq’s President, a Kurdish official said on Monday. Nejervan Barazani said that Talabani as President of Iraq will serve the interests of Kurds and all Iraqis. “All Kurdish political parties should support the nomination of Talabani to this post,” Barazani told the press including Iraqi News. He said that Kurds’ internal differences should not be exported outside their Kurdistan region. “All Kurdish political blocs should be unified to succeed in Baghdad,” Barazani said. MH (P) / SS 1
