Iraqi soldier gunned down in Mosul

NINEWA /Iraqi News An Iraqi soldier was killed by unidentified gunmen fire in western Mosul city on Sunday, a security source said. “Gunmen opened fire on an Iraqi soldier in the area of al-Karama, eastern Mosul, killing him instantly,” the source told Iraqi News. “The soldier was driving his private vehicle while on a leave of absence from duty,” he said, not giving more information about the attack.
