Mortar wounds 7, including children, in Mosul

NINEWA /Iraqi News Seven civilians have been wounded when a mortar shell fell in Mosul City, a local police source said on Wednesday. “This afternoon, a mortar shell targeted the headquarters of the local committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP),” the source told Iraqi News. The shell landed near the building of the local education department in al-Faysaliya area, eastern Mosul, the source noted. Seven civilians, including four children, were wounded in the blast, the source added. Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of Baghdad. SS (P)/SR 2
