Iraqi army imposes curfew in Mosul

NINEWA /Iraqi News A partial curfew has been imposed in western Mosul and search raids are currently underway in the province, an army source said on Sunday. “The curfew has been imposed since an early hour this morning in 17 Tammuz neighborhood, western Mosul,” the source told Iraqi News. The curfew was imposed on vehicles, the source pointed out, adding that pedestrians were allowed to move freely. Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of Baghdad. SS (P) 2
