Issawi to discuss important, sensitive issues with al-Maliki

BAGHDAD /Iraqi News Rafia al-Issawi, a leader from the al-Iraqiya List, said that he will hold talks on Tuesday with Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, head of Dawlat al-Qanoon (State of Law), on important and sensitive issues, according to a statement of his office. “Any bloc has the right to hold talks and to consult with other blocs,” al-Issawi said after meeting with the Iranian Ambassador in Baghdad, Hassan Kazemi Qomi, asserting that al-Iraqiya List still talking with all blocs, including the State of Law. “Forming the coming government is an internal Iraqi affair,” the Iraqi official said after a three-hour meeting with the Iranian diplomat.
