Iraqi baseball team to the U.S.

BAGHDAD /Iraqi News The Iraqi baseball team will take a 10-day trip to the U.S. in May 2010. The U.S. Embassy in Baghdad said in a release on Wednesday that the State Department will fund the trip that will start on May 3 and end on May 13, 2010. According to this U.S. initiative, 12 Iraqi athletes and five coaches will be travelling to America where they will join a training program. MH (P)/SR 1
