Peaceful protest in Falluja against Baghdad blasts

ANBAR /Iraqi News Dozens of Falluja residents have taken to the street to protest the bombings that rocked the Iraqi capital yesterday, leaving dozens of people killed of wounded. “The demonstration was attended by municipal council members and local chieftains, who condemned the deadly blasts that hit the capital Baghdad…,” the head of the city’s municipal council, Ahmed al-Haem, told Iraqi News. On Sunday (April 4), a series of blasts hit areas close to the diplomatic missions in the capital Baghdad, including the German embassy, the Egyptian consulate and the Iranian embassy, leaving 30 persons killed and 168 others wounded, according to latest figures.
