Ras al-Khaimah ruler in Arbil, meets premier

ARBIL /Iraqi News The ruler of Ras al-Khaimah, one of the emirates of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammad al-Qassimi, has arrived in Arbil and met with the prime minister of the Kurdistan region, Barham Saleh, to discuss economic ties, an informed source said on Monday. “Along with his accompanying delegation, Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammad al-Qassimi has arrived at Arbil International Airport. Upon his arrival he met with the prime minister of the Kurdistan region, Barham Saleh,” Towana Ahmed told Iraqi News. Economic relations between the Kurdistan region and Ras al-Khaimah was the main topic of discussion at the meeting, Ahmed added. SS (P) 1
