Kamal Karkouki, Russian amb. review bilateral ties

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: Speaker of Kurdistan region Kamal Karkouki discussed with the ambassador of the Russian Federation to Iraq the latest developments in Iraq and ways of boosting bilateral relations, according to a parliament’s statement. “Karkouki expressed hope over bolstering ties with Russia and exchanging parliamentary delegations’ visits,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The meeting tackled the latest political developments in Iraq and forming the new government scenarios,” it added. “The ambassador praised the recent development in the region, mainly in the reconstruction sector,” it said.
