No veto from Sadrists on al-Maliki’s second term – politician

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Sadrist leader, Qussai Abdulwahab al-Suheil, denied on Tuesday a Sadrist veto on Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki’s second term. “The Sadrist bloc does not have any veto on al-Maliki’s second term in office,” Suheil told IraqiNews.com news agency, noting that the meeting between a Sadrist delegation and al-Maliki today did not discuss this subject. “The meeting tackled the latest political developments in the country and reviewed the relation between the Sadrist bloc and Daawa party,” he added.
