U.S. embassy denies supporting certain candidate, party

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The U.S. embassy in Iraq denied on Tuesday supporting certain candidate, party or alliance on the ongoing talks among blocs to form the government, spokesman for the U.S. embassy said. “Regarding the news story posted on a website regarding the prime minister post, I want to assert that the U.S. does not support certain candidate or alliance,” the spokesman told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Forming the coming government is an Iraqi internal affair and no one has the right interfere in it,” he said.
