Talabani urges neighboring countries not to interfere in Iraq’s affairs

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi President Jalal Talabani on Wednesday called on neighboring countries not to interfere in Iraq’s affairs and to respect Iraq’s sovereignty. Speaking to al-Arabiya television, the president said that neighboring countries must respect our sovereignty, asserting that the U.S. government does not interfere in Iraq’s affairs. “The Americans were satisfied and comfort from the elections outcome, despite Sadrists’ success, who are against the U.S.” he added.
