Talabani discusses with U.S. amb. talks to form government

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi President Jalal Talabani held talks with U.S. Ambassador in Baghdad Christopher Hill and his accompanying delegation, according to a presidential statement. “The meeting, which was held on Thursday (April 15), tackled the ongoing talks among parliamentary blocs to form the new government,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The president updated the ambassador with the outcome of his recent visit to Saudi Arabia and his meeting with King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz,” it added.
