IED injures 5 in southern Baghdad

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Three civilians and two Iraqi soldiers were injured Tuesday by an improvised explosive device blast in southern Baghdad, according to a security source. “The bomb targeted an army vehicle patrol in al-Mahmoudiya region in southern Baghdad,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The explosion damaged a number of nearby houses and vehicles,” he added.
