US army arrests explosives expert in Anbar

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: U.S. army in Iraq announced on Thursday that they have arrested a “terrorist” expert in explosives at the Anbar province. “The operation relied on intelligence tip off,” the army said in a release received by IraqiNews.com news agency. They noted that explosive materials were found in the suspect’s house. “The suspect used a grenade to resist arrest,” the statement explained. It pointed out that two servicemen were wounded while arresting the suspect who is accused of killing a number of Iraqi soldiers.
