9 killed, 10 wounded in blasts in Ramadi

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: At least nine people were killed and ten others were wounded in blasts near three houses in eastern Ramadi, a police source said. “A number of bombs, planted by unknown gunmen near houses in central al-Khalidiya district, eastern Ramadi, including the house of Judge Fadel Mahmoud and two houses of civilians between Albu Flis region and al-Shuhadaa and al-Sada neighborhoods, killing nine persons, including an Iraqi soldier and injuring ten,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Security forces cordoned off the region, where they found two bombs,” he added. “The forces were attempting to defuse the bombs, but one of them went off, killing a soldier,” he said.
