Arbil governor discusses with Turkish delegation opening of border crossing

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: Arbil governor said on Monday that he discussed with a Turkish delegation opening of a new border crossing with the eastern provinces of Turkey. Nouzad Hadi told IraqiNews.com news agency that he discussed with a delegation representing the Hakkari province in Turkey ways of boosting bilateral ties. “The meeting tackled also opening a border crossing with the Turkish eastern provinces with the help of the Kurdistan’s Chamber of Industry and Commerce,” he added. “The Turkish delegation welcomed the recent positive developments in the region, mainly the stability which encourages investments and other commercial activities,” he said.
