Ninewa governor knows of only 90 detainees from Ninewa

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Ninewa‘s Governor Atheel al-Nejeifi said on Monday that he does not know the exact number of people from his province detained in Baghdad. “We have been notified that 90 people from Ninewa are detained in Baghdad,” al-Nejeifi told IraqiNews.com news agency. He noted that he does not believe the number to accurate, and that there are more detainees than that. Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of Baghdad. MH (P)/SR 3
