Cop killed, 3 wounded in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: A policeman was killed and three persons were wounded in western Mosul, a police source said on Tuesday. “A policeman was killed on Tuesday and another one was wounded when gunmen opened fire at them using guns with silencers at a police checkpoint in al-Zenjili region, western Mosul,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The policemen responded by opening fire randomly, injuring a passing child and a civilian,” he added.
