10 civilians wounded in grenade attack in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Ten civilians were wounded on Saturday when unknown gunmen used two grenades to attack a police patrol in central Mosul city. “None of the patrol’s personnel were wounded in the attack,” a local police source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He noted that the attack occurred in a crowded market in central Mosul. “The gunmen were able to escape, and the injured were admitted to hospital,” the source pointed out. Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa province lies 405 km north of Baghdad. MH (P)/SR 3
