Turkish firms discuss strategic projects in Karbala

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: Turkish firms discussed with the local government in Karbala means to set up strategic projects in the holy city, according to the deputy chief of the provincial council on Sunday. “The Karbala provincial council received a delegation representing a consortium of Turkish companies and discussed ways to establish projects in the city,” Nassif Jassem al-Khatabi told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The projects, which would include airports, housing compounds and hotels, will be referred to the investment commission for further deliberations,” Khatabi added.
