Iraqi police nab Saudi gunman in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi police forces in western Mosul city on Tuesday arrested a high-ranking member of the Al-Qaeda in Iraq (AQI) organization who carries the Saudi citizenship. “The gunman was arrested inside his house following intelligence tip offs,” a local police source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He pointed out that the gunman entered Iraq illegally for the first time in 2004, and that he was arrested by U.S. forces and then released in 2007. “Interrogations are underway with the Saudi gunman,” the source noted.
