Gunmen shoot dead guard north of Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: A man from the facility protection service department was shot down by unidentified gunmen north of Mosul city on Friday, an Iraqi police source said. “A guard who was on a leave was killed by gunmen fire while heading home in the district of Wana, (30 km) north of Mosul,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The gunmen intercepted the guard and opened fire on him before he could reach his home and escaped in a vehicle in a vehicle they were boarding to an unknown place,” he added.
