Civilian killed by gunmen in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: One civilian was killed on Tuesday by gunmen in northern Mosul, according to a police source. “The armed men opened fire on the civilian in al-Rashidiya region in northern Mosul, killing him instantly,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The body was sent to the forensic medicine department,” he added. “A police force from the 3rd division found a weapons cache in al-Masaref neighborhood in northeastern Mosul,” the source added. “The cache contains explosives and ammunitions,” he noted. “The police launched the operation after receiving intelligence information,” he explained.
