URGENT / Maliki arrives in Najaf, meets Sistani

NAJAF / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki arrived in Najaf on Saturday to meet with the highest Shiite clergy represented by Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Sistani. “As soon as he arrived in Najaf, al-Maliki went to meet Sistani,” a local source told IraqiNews.com news agency.
