5 gunmen arrested in Iraq

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Security forces arrested on Thursday five gunmen in separate areas of Iraq, including the suspect of killing the candidate of al-Iraqiya List, Suha al-Shamaa in Ninewa, the interior ministry said on Thursday. “The Criminal Investigation Department arrested a terrorist in Khazraj region in Ninewa, suspected of killing Candidate Suha al-Shamaa,” the ministry said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “Kirkuk Districts Police Department arrested a wanted man in al-Abbasi district in Kirkuk,” it said. “The forces arrested another wanted person in accordance with Article IV Terrorism Law in al-Doura region, southern Baghdad,” the statement added. “In Basra, two wanted persons were arrested in two separate incidents,” it continued.
