IED blast kills 2 civilians, wounds 4 in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Two civilians were killed and four others wounded in an improvised explosive device blast on Friday, a local police source in Ninewa said. “The IED went off on the main street in al-Rifai’e neighborhood, western Mosul, leaving two civilian men killed and four others wounded,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The wounded were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment,” the source added, not giving further details about the explosion or the nature of the injuries. Mosul, the capital city of the unrest-stricken province of Ninewa, lies 405 km north of Baghdad. AmR (P) 2
