2 al-Qaeda elements captured in Diala

DIALA / IraqiNews.com: Security forces arrested on Monday two al-Qaeda elements in east of Baaquba city, a senior police officer said. “The national investigation forces in Jalawlaa district in Khanaqin, waged on Monday afternoon (June 7) a crackdown operation in Jalawlaa, where they arrested two al-Qaeda elements, one of them is a police captain,” Ahmad al-Zarkoushi told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The officer was a prisoner at Bucca jail in Basra in accordance with Article IV Terrorism and was released early 2009,” he added.
