ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: The danger of al-Qaeda group in Anbar has significantly declined, a media official of Anbar police said on Wednesday. “The role of al-Qaeda and other armed groups in Anbar has declined significantly, after arresting the most dangerous leaders and elements,” Major Rahim Zubn told IraqiNews.com news agency. “A number of wanted men have been killed while targeting military bases and security centers using car bombs and explosive belts in separate areas of Anbar,” he added. “There is a complete coordination among security authorities in all provinces,” he said.
