BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A number of Iraqi army soldiers were killed in an attack with three improvised explosive devices in the area of al-Adhamiya in Baghdad on Thursday, according to a senior security spokesman. “An unidentified number of army servicemen were killed today (July 29) in an attack with three IEDs,” according to Maj. General Qassem Atta, the official spokesman for the Baghdad Operations Command (BOC) in statements to IraqiNews.com news agency. “The explosions also left a military vehicle ablaze and caused severe damage to two police vehicles,” he added.
