Tight security measures to protect scholars, imams in Anbar

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Policemen have adopted security measures to protect religious scholars and mosques imams throughout Anbar, local police chief said on Thursday. “All police and army force deployed throughout Anbar are implementing a joint security plan to protect religious scholars and mosques imams as a precautionary measure against possible attacks,” General Bahaa al-Karki told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Among these measures giving licenses to three persons selected by the sheikh or imam to carry light weapon,” he added.
