8 wounded in two blasts near Baghdad

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Six civilians and two Iraqi army soldiers were wounded in two blasts from improvised explosive devices west of Baghdad on Friday, an Iraqi police source said. “An Iraqi army patrol came under an IED attack in al-Khadraa neighborhood, west of Baghdad, leaving two soldiers and four civilians near the blast site wounded,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Another IED went off in Sayed al-Haleeb intersection in al-Mansour district, west of Baghdad, wounding two civilians,” he said.
