Curfew on Mosul reduced in Ramadan
BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Ninewa Security Committee has decided on Monday to minimize the time span of the curfew imposed on Mosul city. The ease will be for the holy month of Ramadan only. “The curfew during Ramadan will be from 1:00 – 4:00 a.m.,” a local security source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He said that the decision comes to permit Mosul families to live up to religious and social rituals of Ramadan, the holy month of Muslims. The curfew on Mosul currently starts at midnight and ends at 5:00 a.m. every night. Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of Baghdad. MH (P)/SR 2
