Motorcycles with no registration plates banned in Anbar

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Police forces in al-Anbar have decided to ban motorcycles that do not carry registration documents and plates throughout the province. “Police checkpoints have been notified in this regard,” a local security source told IraqiNews.com news agency on Monday. He explained that the decision comes to protect residents of al-Anbar province from armed operations that could be carried out by the use of these motorcycles. The source added, “Motorcycles without registration documents and plates will be confiscated, and violators will be admitted to the judiciary.” Ramadi, the capital city of al-Anbar province, lies 110 km west of Baghdad.
