Earthquake jolts Mosul, no casualties

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: An earthquake hit the Mosul city early Friday causing no casualties, according to local sources. “The earthquake occurred around 1:00 am Friday (Sept. 10),” a source from the city told IraqiNews.com news agency. He explained that the earthquake took around three seconds, pointing out that the local residents were terrified. Local police sources confirmed that hospitals in Mosul did not receive any casualties due to the earthquake. No information has been so far revealed regarding the earthquake’s strength. Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of Baghdad. MH (P)/SH 2
