Barazani, Abdulmahdi call for creating proper climate to form govt.

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Kurdistan Region President Massoud Barazani and Iraqi Vice President Adel Abdulmahdi saw eye to eye on the need to have a proper atmosphere to surmount the country’s current political crisis in a way helping to form a government. “Barazani received at the resort of Salah al-Din Vice President Abdulmahdi, who arrived in Arbil earlier on Sunday (Sept. 12), and the two sides discussed recent political developments and efforts exerted to form a government,” an informed source in the Kurdistan Regional Government Kurdistan RegionG) told IraqiNews.com news agency. The Iraqi political chessboard has been witnessing a crisis for seven months now after the country’s legislative elections in March 2010 as Iyad Allawi’s al-Iraqiya bloc and incumbent Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki’s State of Law bloc both insist on the right to form a government.
