Officer killed, 3 family members wounded in Baaquba blast

DIALA / IraqiNews.com: An Iraqi army officer was killed and his wife and two children wounded in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast near his house in Buhrez, south of Baaquba city, on Sunday, according to an Iraqi army source in Diala. “Captain Wathiq al-Majmai’e, an Iraqi army’s 5th Division officer in Diala, was killed and his wife and two children severely wounded after an IED planted near his house in Buhrez, (5 km) south of Baaquba, went off just as Majmai’e was entering his house driveway,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency.
