Maliki doesn’t need foreign support – source

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki does not need foreign support to form the new Iraqi government, a member of the Dawlat al-Qanoon (State of Law) Alliance, headed by Maliki, said on Tuesday. “Forming the new Iraqi government is a local issue of Iraq,” Ali al-Allaq told IraqiNews.com news agency. He explained that the Dawlat al-Qanoon Alliance believes that national dialogues are the key to settling the current political crisis in Iraq. “Foreign interventions will just complicate the political scene in Iraq,” he added.
