U.S. patrol attacked in Hilla
BABEL / IraqiNews.com: A U.S. patrol was attacked on Wednesday by an explosive charge in eastern Hilla, a police source said on Thursday. “The bomb, planted on the road linking Hilla with the highway, eastern Hilla, went off on Wednesday (Sept. 15) targeting a U.S. vehicle patrol,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The forces cordoned off the area,” he added, with no word on casualties or damage.
