Gunman injured in blast in Talafar

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: One gunman was wounded when a roadside bomb he was attempting to plant went off in Talafar suburb, northwest of Mosul city. “The incident took place yesterday night in the al-Uroba neighborhood, 60 km northwest of Mosul,” a local police source told IraqiNews.com news agency on Wednesday. He explained that the gunman was seriously wounded. The source did not mention further details, but noted that security forces started an investigation regarding the event.
