Kurdish security: We had information about the Qalaat-Diza bomber

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Kurdish security forces in the Sulaimaniya city received yesterday information about a suicide bomber affiliated with the al-Qaida organization in the Qalaat-Diza district, a source from the forces said on Wednesday. “The forces found the bomber, and ordered him to surrender, but he blew himself up because he had an explosive vest on him,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He explained that two Kurdish security elements had minor injuries due to the blast. “Al-Qaida has plans to disturb security in Qalaat-Diza,” the source added. Earlier, another Kurdish security source said that three Kurdish security elements were wounded in the suicide bombing that took place earlier Wednesday in the Qalaat-Diza district.
